Who we are
Donegall Pass Community Enterprises (DPCE) is a community development organisation working to strengthen the social, cultural and economic life of Donegall Pass and the surrounding area.
We work alongside residents, community groups, public agencies and partner organisations to support regeneration, celebrate local heritage, encourage positive relationships and create opportunities for communities to shape the future of their neighbourhood.
Originally established as a Community Interest Company in 2017, DPCE became a charitable company in 2021. Since then, the organisation has continued to develop projects, partnerships and long-term initiatives that support a more vibrant, welcoming and sustainable Donegall Pass.
We work to strengthen Donegall Pass
Donegall Pass is one of Belfast's oldest and most diverse neighbourhoods, shaped by generations of residents, businesses, communities and cultures.
DPCE exists to help ensure that local people have a meaningful voice in the future of the area. Through community development, regeneration, heritage, tourism and good relations work, we support initiatives that strengthen neighbourhood life, celebrate local identity and create opportunities for future generations.
Everything we do is rooted in partnership, participation and a commitment to building a community that is welcoming, connected and open to all.
Our core functions
DPCE was established to support the long-term social and economic regeneration of Donegall Pass and the surrounding area.
Our work combines community development, regeneration, partnership working and local leadership. Together, these functions help ensure that local people remain at the centre of decisions affecting the future of the neighbourhood.
Through the development of the Good Relations Hub, community engagement, partnership building, social enterprise activity and wider regeneration initiatives, we work to create positive and lasting benefits for residents, communities and future generations.
Developing
Playing a central role in successfully developing a Good Relations Hub located on the former PSNI site on Donegall Pass

Managing the Good Relations Hub when the work is completed
Leading
Leading in the development and delivery of a longer-term community regeneration plan for Donegall Pass
Working
Working in partnership to champion a regenerated vision for Donegall Pass as part of a wider discussion on transforming Belfast
Aiding
Aiding social and economic regeneration of the Donegall Pass area through training and employment, focusing on social enterprise, to address deprivation in the area.
Engaging
Engaging with the local community, Belfast City Council, Urban Villages, and wider stakeholders to identify key needs and support partnerships that create positive community solutions and outcomes both through the Hub and other key projects
Championing
Championing diversity and good relations through the delivery of services that aid in the social and physical community regeneration of Donegall Pass and the surrounding area.
DPCE is here to help make Donegall Pass a more vibrant and thriving area of inner-city Belfast – a place that is welcoming and open to all. Working in partnership with residents, community organisations and local stakeholders, we seek to enhance the neighbourhood, strengthen community life and create opportunities that support a safe, sustainable and connected place for people to live, work, learn and grow.
